Daimler Empress (1950)
The first post-war Daimlers were the DB18's but they were essentially a continuation of the 1939 models with re-styled bodies that gave more luggage space. Like some of the other models from Daimler the coachbuilders, Hooper were still able to prove their craft and indeed Hooper made some Empress saloons of which this is a very rare example. The extremely luxurious interior means that the car is particularly suited to the Bride to be. Considered by many to be one of the most elegant cars ever made and chosen by Princess Diana on her wedding day.

Jaguar Mark II (1965)
The Jaguar Mark II was introduced in October 1959 and continued in production until 1967. Adhering to Sir William Lyons' maxim of "grace, pace and space", the Mark II is a beautiful, fast and capable saloon. The interior was completely redesigned from the Mark I but retained its luxury and elegance with such amenities as leather and wood veneer. The attention to detail both inside and out, only amplified the ambiance of sophistication. The Mark II is what made Jaguar what it is today and proved sufficiently popular over time to provide an inspiration for the Jaguar S-Type (introduced in 1999).
